I CONCEPT I

The Theme:
This Hari Raya Aidilfitri, we're thrilled to announce our "Happi Raya" celebration theme. After all the uncertainties of the past few years, we believe that it's important to come together and embrace the joy and happiness of this cultural and religious holiday.

The Idea:
When we think about the universal element that makes people happy during raya, the answer is clear - good ol traditional food! Be it ketupat, lemang, otak-otak, onde-onde or kuih-muih, everyone eats with a smile, and this is what makes the celebrations more worthwhile.

The Designs:
In the spirit of "Happi Raya," our special festive gift set will feature 6 of our all-time favorite Hari Raya delicacies: Ketupat, Lemang, Otak-Otak, Onde-Onde, Karipap, and Kuih-Muih. And the best part? They're not just delicious treats - they also come in the form of wearable accessories like clips and pins, so you can show off your festive spirit wherever you go!

THE FINISHING

Just like the colours of santan (coconut milk) and kelapa (coconut), we've finished our celebration cards with high-density white prints (santan) on brown kraft paper (coconut shell), which are essential ingredients in raya foods.

THE DETAILS

From Drab to Fab

Dazzling Design for Fairy Dust Boutique

 • Help create the brand identity for Fairy Dust from scratch, while aligning with the owner’s beliefs and values to allow young women to shine with gorgeous clothing.

 • We designed Fairy Dust’s visual identity from the ground up, capturing the owner’s passion to make young woman shine in a new logo and brand style guidelines. We then help establish their facebook page that helps educate leads and convert customers.

 • Since the brand identuty launch, Fairy Dust recorded more than 1000 walk-in customers for the next 3 months, averaging a respectable 11+ customers per day from zero.

I CONCEPT I

Starting from the brand name, the store owner not only wants to sell clothes to customers, but also hopes to guide young women who want to try to break through their own style or become more beautiful and confident, and lead them to become a better version of themselves.

OWNER’S MISSION - BE A FAIRY

Rather than a generic logo design, we aim to create a Fairy Dust logo that aligns with the store owner's original intention and beliefs, which combines a mascot, symbolism, spirit, and mission.

We hope this logo can serve as a little fairy to convey the store owner's original intention, and we named it 'Little Pixie' (小顆粒). The naming inspiration comes from the pixies, where there are known to sprinkle pixie/fairy dust.

During our discussion, one of the store owner's friends provided a photo of a pink sheep plush toy, which became the initial inspiration for Little Pixie. The store owner's zodiac sign is sheep, and in the Chinese zodiac, sheep is a lucky animal so we decided to use it as the main face of the boutique.

Choosing a sheep as the image for Little Pixie is not only because it symbolizes auspiciousness, kindness, and harmony in Chinese culture and ancient Chinese characters, but also because its beauty, charity, friendliness, gentleness, and filial piety embody the store owner's personality. As a little fairy spreading the store owner's spirit, "Little Grain" couldn't be a more suitable image.

From another perspective, Little Pixie is the store owner's alter ego, guiding the lost lambs back on the right path as the chinese proverb says:

‘ 引導迷路中的小羔羊們重返正路 '

ELEMENTS

The design and composition of Little Pixie (小顆粒) achieve a balance and saturation of lines. The inspiration comes from the store owner's zodiac sign, Libra. As a disseminator of the store owner's belief, we hope that Little Particle can maintain a balanced state and a gentle attitude like the store owner, treating people with harmony and creating a harmonious atmosphere on site.

The color scheme of Little Pixie is an adorable pink-orange in the belonging to warm colours, aiming to give people a warm and friendly feeling and image. On the other hand, it is also tailored to the store owner's feminine traits and lucky jewelry (coral), with a custom-made coral orange color scheme.

BRAND COLLATERALS

As our client is a woman who values family very much, and Fairy Dust has also became a place to gather her family members. Therefore, we have developed from the original image of Little Pixie to form the Pixie Family, hoping to present the brand that best fits the store owner's ideas.

We do have a lot in common.
The same air, the same Earth, the same sky.
Maybe if we started looking at what's the same
instead of always looking at what's different,
...well, who knows?
